HOW TO BECOME A CHRISTIAN
God wants you to have a full and abundant life (John 10:10).
He loves you and wants the best for you (John 3:16). But because
of our sin we are separated from God (Romans 3:23). Through Jesus, God has provided salvation from our sin.
To become a Christian you must:
1. Confess (admit) your sins to God.(1 John 1:9)
2. Repent of your sins. This means to turn from your sins. God will help you do this. It does not happen all at once. (Acts 17:30)
3. Believe (have faith) in Jesus to save you. This means you believe He is the son of God. He died for your sins and rose from the dead.
It is putting your trust in Jesus. (Acts 16:31)
4. Ask God to forgive you of your sin, come into your life and save you. This also means committing the rest of your life to God.
